Dress for the job you want to have…

Dress for the job you would like to have

I had met lately some people in my life who are focusing their work and passion on the looks. I started to wonder how much the make-up, the cloths, clean nails and choosing right colours influences your life and career.

“Dress for the job you want to have, not for the job you got” someone said.

Hm…

If you are junior staff and dream to become a manager of the team, use elegant cloths that you see top managers wear. If in the company you have a casual Friday, don’t forget that casual doesn’t mean sloppy. A suit jacket looks pretty good with a nice well fitted pair of jeans.

This is just a piece of advice that could influence people and the way they perceive you.

And don’t forget that the dress is not everything! Keep in mind you should be good in what you are doing and present high performance.
